EveryBite's SmartMenu™ turns restaurant menus into real-time, filterable ingredient experiences - letting diners with allergies and dietary restrictions find safe dishes instantly. LambdaWorks built the AI classification engine, OCR menu parsing, the data pipeline, and the Olo integration that runs it at scale. The platform reached 150,000 monthly active users within 100 days of launch and now serves consumers across 7,000+ restaurant locations and 50+ chains.

The problem diners with allergies face every day

Ordering by guessworkMenus don't show ingredient lists. Servers often don't know. Asterisks at the bottom don't help someone with a severe allergy make a confident decision.

What we built

Ingredient classification AI - Trained to parse recipes and menu items, identify allergens, and flag dietary suitability across categories: vegan, keto, paleo, gluten-free, and individual allergens. Real-time personalization engine - Diners filter menus by their restrictions and see only dishes that match. Olo integration - EveryBite connects directly into the Olo ecosystem, making SmartMenu available across Olo's network.
